ACBF Virtual Library
The African Capacity Building Foundation(ACBF) Virtual Library provides free access to full-text copies on capacity development produced and published by ACBF, its networks and partners. The  collections comprises of e-books, occasional papers, working papers, reports, development memoirs, and conference papers 

The Access to Research for Development and Innovation (ARDI) program provides free online access to major scientific and technical journals. Publishers under ARDI include Elsevier, John Wiley & Sons, Oxford University Press, National Academy of Sciences, Sage Publications, Springer Science+ Business Media, Taylor & Francis.

Africa Portal
This is an online knowledge resource for policy-related issues on Africa. A key feature of the Africa Portal is that the online library collection, holds over 5,000 books, journals, and digital documents related to African policy issues.
All free for download.
