ZEPARU, in collaboration with African Economic Research Consortium (AERC), a Kenya based nonprofit organization devoted to the advancement of economic policy research and training, jointly hosted a national dissemination workshop on the 4th of February 2019,
The national dissemination workshop ran under the theme " Export Performance and Health Service Delivery in Zimbabwe: Challenges and Opportunities” and it saw the following research papers being presented;
- Corruption And Firm Export Performance In Fragile Economies: Evidence From Zimbabwe.
Authored by Professor Albert Makochekanwa (Department of Economics, University of Zimbabwe) and Dr. Godfrey Mahofa (School of Economics, University of Cape Town).
- Service Delivery In Fragile States: The Case Of Health Sector In Zimbabwe.
Authored by Professor Rosemary Atieno (University of Nairobi, Kenya), Professor Theresa Moyo (Limpopo University, South Africa) and Dr. Owen Nyangoro (University of Nairobi, Kenya).
The workshop was attended by delegates from AERC, and stakeholders drawn from Government Ministries, the health sector, the academia, civic society organisations, local think tanks and research institutions, etc.
